Start of Summer Checklist

Summer is right around the corner so it’s a good time to tackle these simple home projects now and spend the season ahead relaxing.

Clean out the freezer

You’ll want plenty of room for frozen treats this summer, so it’s a good idea to make sure your freezer is free of any unwanted items. Toss anything that’s past its shelf life (meats, veggies, etc.)

Brighten the backyard

Introduce new patio or deck furniture in fun colors, give the grill a thorough cleaning – anything to refresh and give your yard the feeling that summer has arrived

 Plan ahead

Most kids have off for at least two months during the summer, which may seem like a lot of time for fun–if only the time didn’t go by so fast. By planning activities and trips to take ahead of time, you can ensure that the summer is well spent come September.

Here’s wishing you a great summer!
