Want lower auto insurance rates?

Take a few moments to review your insurance. Auto premiums depend on many variable factors that can impact how much you’ll be paying for your insurance like:

• Type of vehicle
• Vehicle safety rating
• Anti-theft devices
• Age of vehicle
• Estimated annual vehicle mileage
• Where you live
• How far you drive to work
• Leasing or buying
• Consider dropping collision or comprehensive coverage if the value of your vehicle is low

Thinking about buying or leasing an auto?

Discuss your plans ahead of time with your friends at Apollo Insurance Services. Just give us a call at 800.426.1088, option 2 for a complimentary consultation.
We can check the safety ratings of the vehicle, which will impact your premium.

Other ways to reduce your cost would be a better-than-average driving record, a vehicle unpopular among auto thieves, installing an anti-theft device, insuring multiple cars under one policy, enrolling in safe driving classes and even using the same company for your auto and homeowners insurance.

Packing Hacks for Less Stress

Spring break is right around the corner and if you’re planning a trip, you may have those pre-trip butterflies about packing for it. Here are some packing hacks that will help expedite and ease the process.

Preparing
There are a few steps to take before starting to pack. It’s a good idea to compile a packing list of things that are always needed, no matter the destination or season. Things such as toiletries, socks, undergarments and accessories can be included here.

Once that’s done you can consider the clothes and shoes you’ll need for the trip and its climate. It’s worth taking the time to plan outfit by outfit or day by day. This can allow you to eliminate extra items and gives you the opportunity to plan versatile pieces. These can be used multiple times throughout your trip and should include neutral tops, pants and outerwear.

Now you’re ready to put things in your luggage!

Actually packing
There are many ways to pack that saves room and keeps clothes nice. Rolling your clothes provides the opportunity to save clothes from wrinkling, especially if you take your time when rolling. Or, use a packing cube to organize your clothes by day or outfit and save stress while on vacation.

Bring an extra bag for dirty clothes, especially if you’ll be living out of your suitcase. It will allow you to keep those dirty clothes and socks separate from your clean, fresh clothes.

Consider stuffing some items into your shoes, such as perfume or travel appliances. Not only will this keep them slightly safer than if they were to be floating around, it also saves space and helps you maintain the shape of your shoe.

Pack everything in the same spot or in the same way every time. This not only keeps you organized, but also speeds up packing because everything that needs to be packed has a designated spot. There will be no wondering where a certain item is — you’ll already know!

Finally, you can toss in a dryer sheet or two in between some of the layers of clothes you’ve packed. This is just one more step to ensure your clothes stay smelling fresh and clean.

Wishing you safe travels and a fully packed bag!
